A bit about me:

  • A diplomat child I am a Third Culture Kid after having lived in Yemen, Kenya, Libya and India. I’ve lived in London most of my life after moving here in the early 1990s.
  • My work passion (which never feels like work) is teaching and passing the gift of my knowledge. I am a one to one Science and maths coach and tutor to many teenagers and quite often adults. I tutor online on video call and a whiteboard. I well and truly enjoy working with people and tutoring has opened up many doors for me in life.
  • I run the Indie Tutors Network with my friend Henry Dingle. It is a brand new project that I am super excited about. It brings together tutors from all over the world over live video calls for training, professional development and friendship. I also organise regular in person tutor meetups in London.
  • My first and true love will always be that of being a singer and musician. I achieved my lifelong dream of being in a rock band when I set up DonkeyBox and I’ve been its singer and manager for 17 years. I also perform as a solo artist singing with my guitar at open mic nights in London and livestreaming on Facebook and YouTube.
